The Kartboy Short Throw shifter replaces the stock shift lever in 1997-2001 model year Subaru Impreza vehicles; including the Outback Sport. Overall shift throw is decreased by 40%; providing a noticeable difference and a solid feel.

Constructed of CNC'd and TIG welded 4130 Cr-Mo steel. Installs with simple mechanic's tools in under 30 minutes. Made in USA. The Kartboy Shifter Bushings replace the stock shifter mount bushings in 1998-2004 model year Subaru vehicles; including Impreza RS/WRX (not the WRX STi - yet)Outback Sport/Legacy and Forester. While this product will not change the geometry of the shifting mechanism it eliminates excessive play in the system for a more solid gearchange. This product requires jacking of the car and jackstands are mandatory. Can be installed in 30 min. Material is Black - 95A durometer polyurethane. Made in USA
